What is physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy uses physical techniques to improve your movement, reduce your pain and stiffness, speed up your healing process and increase your quality of life.
Who needs physiotherapy?
Physiotherapists create individually designed programs to help treat the specific needs of the client. Some common treatments include: Exercise programs developed for the individual’s strength, range of motion, and function. Joint mobilization and manipulation exercises to reduce pain and stiffness of muscles.

How long does a physiotherapy session last? Usually sessions last between 30 minutes and an hour but this depends on the nature of the condition. The first appointment will usually be longer in order to account for time taken to take a patient’s medical history.
